This morning at the thrift store I picked up a perfectly good plain white sweatshirt for my toddler. With no stains and only a $1 price tag I couldn’t pass it up – but it certainly wasn’t very fun.

That’s where my friends fabric paint markers and a DIY attiude come in. I use Tulip brand (pictured right) but of course your favourite brand would work too. I just like these ones because they don’t run and are quick and easy to use. There’s not really a drying time either so clean up is non-existent unlike fabric paint.

Just draw on a cute design to any plain clothing and snap! Cute fashion for next to nothing.

The best part is my 2 year old loves it.
